30th Starz Denver Film Festival Nov. 8-18
While the festival always brings a big star to town, this year it's Robin Williams for the screening of August Rush, I usually dig the small films the most. A couple of years ago I saw Brick long before it was widely released. One of the movies I want to check out is Phillip Seymour Hoffman's The Savages.
UPDATE: I'm not sure where I got the idea that Robin Williams will be here in person. A friend at the Festival says:

Where did you get news that Robin Williams will be here for the August Rush screening?
Are they doing the Cassevetes award this year? I'm surprised they haven't made any announcements.
They have a few Philip Seymour Hoffman movies on the calendar, as well as a number of Liev Schreiber movies. Jason Bateman is in two big event films in one day. And Ellen Page, too. It's curious there have been no announcements of actor attendance. They usually advertise those things well in advance. Maybe it's just directors this year.
