First Friday Must: R Justin Stewart

Nice, huh? Actually, this image isn't exactly what's at Denver's Object and Thought gallery right now. But a similar work, R Justin Stewart's site-specific installation Partitioned 12-18, will be on view this Friday before it is destroyed later this month.

[Partioned 12-18] creates an ethereal experience as the viewer is immersed in an atmosphere full of three-dimensional forms fashioned from painstakingly organized blue thread.

This installation is one of the coolest things from an emerging artist that I've ever looked at (and walked around/under/inside); it is totally worth checking out. And you don't have to weave through the First Friday nightmare on Santa Fe. It's at the gallery located inside the design studio Art & Anthropology in the RiNo arts district.
