New event: MCA Talks On Design

Ian Coyle of Superheroes is curating a new design program at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. To be held every third Friday, its first event is the day after tomorrow. Titled, 'Applied Ideas, Talks On Design,' the series promises to "open discussions on design and its relevance, theory, and practice." Friday's talk on advertising and design will start with a question: "At a time when disciplines are converging, how does the role and application of design change?" The speakers include:

• Chris Beatty, Creative Director / Partner, Cultivator
• Todd Berger, Partner, JoyEngine and cypher13
• Ian Coyle, Founder, Superheroes
